THE MERAMEC VALLEY GROTTO OF THE NATIONAL SPELEOLOGICAL SOCIETY
 


 

The Meramec Valley Grotto, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study, exploration, and conservation of caves, and cave life. The Grotto is a chapter of the National Speleological Society and a member of the Missouri Speleological Survey.

This Web site is the original MVG site.  This site was create by Tom Cravens in the mid 1990's.  In 2000 I retired and moved to Florida.  In March of 2001 Bob Reynolds put up the New MVG web site.  The New site is more up to date than this site is. MEETINGS
 
 

M. V. G. meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm., at The Powder Valley Nature Education Centerin Kirkwood. If you are interested in caves or caving please join us at our next meeting.
 
 

THE MERAMEC CAVER
 
 

M. V. G. has a monthly publication called THE MERAMEC CAVER you may submit material for publication in the Meramec Caver via e-mail to the editor Bob Reynolds.

CAVING TRIPS
 
 

M. V. G. has a cave trip schedule which is published in the MERAMEC CAVER. If you would like to lead a trip or find out about future trips contact Linda Hill (771-0960) the Trip Coordinator.
